Participants take part in an engaging and supportive creative arts program that runs each week, with an additional Art at Night session offered once a month. Together, these
programs provide a welcoming space where artists can learn, practice, and express
themselves through a variety of artistic techniques.
Under the guidance of a Summer Street staff member Natalie Schutz, participants explore painting and unique art projects that reflect both individual imagination and shared inspiration.
Participants also bring the beauty of the Pictou shoreline into their work through sea glass art, collecting pieces from the beach and incorporating them into their creations.

This exhibition runs from November 25 – December 12, 2025 –  with an opening reception taking place on December 3 from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
