Visual Art in Duo – Photographers and Painters Come Together
Through a lens, photographers capture moments, emotions, and stories that resonate. They observe light, colours, and movements. They explore their surroundings, shapes, lines, structures, and space, developing creativity and a unique perspective on the world that surrounds and inspires them.
The painter benefits from the photographer’s inspiration. The idea that arises in the painter’s mind is the spark of inspiration. Whether using acrylic or oil paint, the painter composes a unique colour palette, integrating shadows and light, textures, perspective, and emotion to create a work inspired by photography.
This project was created by photographer Gaétane Martel and painter Benoît Paradis. Wanting to bring together two mediums, they created this artistic event bringing together 10 photographers and 12 painters.
