Located in the Town of Pictou, our studio is a venue for local artists and creatives to explore their passions, collaborate, and share their work with the community. Studio Rental
Creative Pictou County is thrilled to have an artist studio in the new deCoste Culture Hub at 99 Water Street in Pictou. This beautiful open space is ready for artists to teach their craft to the community.
With no specialized equipment in the studio, the instructor must bring their own equipment.
Pricing
$50 plus tax per hour
$40 plus tax per hour for members
What’s included:
- Tables
- Chairs
- Access to six drawing horses
How to apply
Please send the following information in an email to Carissa@creativepictoucounty.com
- Name and contact information of instructor(s)
- Workshop type (art medium)
- Workshop duration (in hours/weeks if applicable)
- Minimum and maximum number of participants
- Preferred dates of workshop
Artists Expectations
Administer their own workshop (promote, sell tickets, etc) including setting their own pricing structure
Return the studio to the way it was found
Creative Pictou County Expectations
Promote the artists workshop on social media with digital materials supplied by the artist
Provide a clean studio space and furniture
Cancellation Policy
As Creative Pictou County embarks on this new endeavour, we are also learning. There is currently no cancellation policy in place, which may change after review in June 2025.
