‘Seasonals’ represents the emotions that come with the changing times of year through the eyes of adolescence. The spectrum of colours and moods are meant to put into perspective how quickly and abruptly life can change at a young age and how heightened the feelings are.

Yula, being inspired by the nature around her such as flora, fauna, and the stars, incorporates those elements in her art, and has been moving away from realistic sketches and towards abstraction and colour. She also enjoys playing music, thrifting, and writing everything from stories/essays to the events of the school day. She hopes everyone will interpret her art differently, specific to them. She can never quite decide on one art form and instead makes it up as she goes, depending on how she feels, and the materials at hand.

This exhibition is on until September 19, 2026 with an opening reception taking place on July 30 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
