Tracey Truly is a clay artist known for her creativity and exploration, making unique art dolls and figurines. Some closer to reality, but many with a whimsical nature and a magical shimmer that says they come from another realm altogether.
Born and raised in Pictou County she lived away from home, experiencing life in the desert of south western USA but Nova Scotia has always been at the core of her creations. Returning to her roots, mostly like maple, she happily squishes clay from her home in beautiful Trenton.
It’s not uncommon to run across her peering into mossy holes in Trenton park with a backpack full of little characters, excited to have their photo taken in the “real” world.
She enjoys creating little characters, to see them pop out of her clay and into the world, adding a bit of fun to regular reality.
